We have restored this protected ancient stud work house from 1872 according to ecological and historical authenticity aspects. It offers 2 individual holiday flats with exalted accommodation standards, which are both affectionately equipped with solid wooden pieces of furniture. Each holiday flat has a separate entrance.

Flat #1 (75 m² max. 6 persons), on groundfloor 1 livingroom, 1 kitchen, shower/WC. 2 bedrooms in the spacy attic, plus two additional matresses in the pitched roof area (formerly a pigeonry). Rates: occupancy of 4 persons EUR 48,-/day, each add. person EUR 3,-/day. Babies free of charge. Rate valid for 3 day minimum rental.

Flat # 2 (60 m² max 4 people): 1 spacious livingroom on groundfloor with integrated kitchenette, showers/WC. 2 bedrooms in the attic. Rates: double occupancy EUR 35,-/day, each add. person EUR 4,-/day, Babies free of charge Rate valid for 3 day minimum rental.

All prices include bed-sheets, towels, dishtowels and final cleaning.
For rentals less than 3 days a surcharge of EUR 5,-/ day will apply

We offer the following amenities:

In the craftsman’s workshop, located in a former sheep shelter, you can try and deploy your creative skills with pottery, wreath binding, felting wool….. Kids will enjoy playing in the sandpit, on the swing, race BIG Bobby-Cars, ride tricycle. Goats, rabbits, cavies, cats and dog will love to be caressed by your kids.

In our cozy orchard, you will find peace and relaxation under shady trees near the goldfish pond. The entire well kept farmyard with lots of flowers and green invites you for a snugly chat and a ‘get together’ right in front of your door.
You can also join us to our own vineyard located at the beautiful slopes of Tauber-Valley.

Enjoy the idyll of a small, calm village with a history of 1000 years Make a hike on the historic nature trail passing around the village and into the nearby forest. A large nature pond located in the village’s vicinity and a new children’s playground invite you to have a rest there.

Discover the lands of the „Hegereiter“ (medieval mounted border patrol) next to our village, 8 miles north of Rothenburg o.d.Tauber on signposted bicycle and walking routes.

Make excursions to the medieval town of Rothenburg o.d.Tauber, to cozy Tauber-Valley with its romantic vineyards, its villages and a bikeway. Visit the open-air museum of Franconian culture and rural architecture or the thermal (salt water) spa ‘Frankentherme” at Bad Windsheim. See Schillingsfürst-Castle with its falconry, Feuchtwangen, Dinkelsbühl, Ansbach, Weikersheim, Bad Mergentheim ... and last but not least visitWuerzburg, Nuremberg or “Playmobil-Funpark” (distance max. 1 hour). routing: click here
